Listen In Your Heart
03:48
|
|||
(Chorus)
Listen,listen
In your heart
Live the love
For love you have been called
Listen, my children
In your heart
Remember that I still love you so.
Long have you struggled
I see your losses and your gains
As life proves so often
To be such an uneven game
But in love's shadow
Is the message still to be found
For the lost and the fallen
Soon find holy ground
(Chorus)
The race is to the quick
The well-kept and the learned
Not to the broken,
surrendered and burned
Yet burning is cleansing
And the broken are healed.
And when you surrender
You find love revealed
(Chorus)
Bring me your passion
Your life as your gift
Not just praises on high
But love well lived
For I am one with you
My peace will not fade
Enter the quiet
Of love with me this day
(Chorus)
... Remember that I still love you so...

It's Time to Go
02:58
|
|||
It's Time to Go
It's time to go
Let's not be late
They'll all be waiting at the gate
Let's sing the number with the band
And join the dancing once again
And we'll go real slow ....
Yes we will go back home.
You are the answer to my prayer
I can't bear to see you lying there
Come and dance with me tonight
I miss the vision you are to my life
And we'll go real slow
Yes we will go back home.
Can you see the angels smile
As you take your hands in mine
They long to hear your sweet voice on the wind
Your voice on the wind
Sing your sweet song again to me
Lift your heart and set it free
I've come to take you in my arms
I'll always keep you safe and warm
As we go back home
Yes we will go back home
Can you see the angels smile
As you take your hands in mine
They long to hear your sweet voice on the wind
Your voice on the wind
It's time to go
Let's not be late
They'll all be waiting at the gate
Let's sing the number with the band
And join the dancing once again
And we'll go real slow ....
Yes we will go back home.

Father
04:14
|
|||
The face of darkness
Sin and death
Stares at me
I can feel its breath
Words in anger
Slap my face
They spit at me
Cast aside in disgrace
(chorus)
Father, what have I done
Where have they taken me
Father, where have You gone
Why have You abandoned me
Chaos surrounds me
Insanity reigns
My words of peace
Return in pain
Hanging naked
On the tree
Is not enough
They still scoff at me
(chorus)
Father, where have You gone
Why have You abandoned me
Father, I am Your son
Glorify Your Name in me
(instrumental break)
Evil's triumph
On this day
By Your Grace
Is swept away
Your Will be done
Your sacrifice
For love is deeper
Than empty lies
(chorus)
Father, here is Your son
Glorify Your Name in me
Father, it has been done
May our love set them free...
set them free,
set them free,
set them free.......

At the Heart Of It All
05:38
|
|||
(chorus)
At the Heart of it all
Is the Love of Father God
Who gave His Son Jesus Christ
That we might have life
At the Heart of it all
Is Your Love, Father God
You would spare nothing of
This most Precious Blood
Shed forth for us
Yours is the True Heart of It All
(Verse 1)
When we wander, You search for us
We turn away, and You beckon
When we stumble, You take us up
As a Father to His children
If not for Your endless care
We would surely be lost
But you rescue us from the snare
With no regard to the cost...
... in the Heart, in the Heart of it all
(Verse 2)
In Your Hands are the branches
For building our new home
Your place of holy rest
A refuge for our souls
And You are there to greet us
Worn from the pain
We faintly enter in
Your Spirit so faithful again, ...
...in the Heart , in the Heart of it all
(Verse 3)
A whispered prayer, You listen
With an easy, gentle ear
You carefully protect us
Still blinded by the tears.
You are the purest Father
A child would ever know
In compassion you have suffered
Your silent offering flows ...
....from the Heart,
....the most Sacred Heart of it all
(Final reprise- 2nd part)
At the Heart of it all
Is the Love of Father God
You gave Your Son, Jesus Christ
To be living bread
Food for our souls
Life from death .....
...in the Heart ,
...the most Sacred Heart of it all

Walk With Me
02:51
|
|||
Walk with me in the desert
See my hands pierced through
All is lost and is suffered
And what remains is true
We will dance in the cool desert air
As darkness falls upon us here
Walk with me in the desert
(We'll talk along the way)
----------------------------------------------
Come with me to the mountain
Take a breath and look down
See the road lies before us
Leading to promised ground
And we will dance in the clear mountain sky
Let our spirits learn to fly
Come with me to the mountain
And see the journey's end
-----------------------------------------------
Work with me in the vineyard
See the fruit rich and full
Bursting forth in its yearning
To be carried home
And we will dance to a new song
Joy will fill our hearts
For soon we will be home
At the table of our Love
-------------------------------------------------
[Instrumental verse]
We will dance in the cool desert air As darkness falls upon us here Walk with me in the desert (We'll talk along the way)

The Old Wooden Fence
04:53
|
|||
The old wooden fence
Beaten and torn through the years
By the wind and the sudden storms
-all that nature could conspire to bring.
Yet it somehow managed to hold firm
In its simple purpose
To keep the strangers out and the restless in.
Blistered by the scorching sun
And frozen with the winter sleet
Merciless in their approach
To them a barrier to break
In their unstoppable freedom
But the struggle has its toll
And its frame once strong has since grown old
The workmen said its time to take it down
And build a new one in its place
Its tired planks now broken and spent
Unfastened to the point of disgrace
The nails have left gaping the place
Where long they had held firm
The wounds now far beyond repair.
So the members carelessly taken down
And thrown upon a glowing heap
What once were sap-filled limbs
Its young wood firm and green
Now lies kindling dry for the burn
And to the earth from which it sprung
It now solemnly returns.
Old wooden fence it is no more
Nor any sort of wood at all
Simple offspring of the earth
Ashen dust its final call....
But also fire,- and heat and light
It takes its long-awaited flight
Set free from the nails, and the wind and the storm.
(reprise anthem)
And it is restored though vanquished in flame
Now born anew, an ennobled slave
Released to climb unbound through the clouds
A soul set free from the past and the stony ground
And it is reborn a child of the sky
No more to sustain the wound or the pain
Coursing the air, never meant to return
For now it has attained the end forever yearned.

There Is A Time
05:11
|
|||
There is a time for laughter
There is a time for crying out loud
There is a time for keeping solitude for you
There is a time to be human
There is a time for reflection
There is a time to put the past away
There is a time to move on to the new day
There is a time just for living
There is a time for anger
There is a time to let the wounds mend
There is a time to make peace with what we fear
There is a time for healing
There is a time for loving
There is a time for holding back our hand
There is a time for stopping to understand
There is a time to be forgiven
(Break)
Not just the sunshine and it's
Not just rain
Not just the thunder
But the peace remains, the peace remains
There is a time for becoming
There is a time to silently fade away
There is a time for watching our lives turning gray
There is a time that is given
There is a time for giving
There is a time to gracefully receive
There is a time for each to fill their need
There is a time and a season
Break repeat
There is a time to know you
There is a time for you to know me
There is a time to let the masks fall
There is a time for us all
There is a time under heaven ..

Let Your Candle Burn
03:30
|
|||
Let your candle burn
Within our hands
Bringing forth a new light
Our lamps to breach the night
Let your candle burn
From heart to soul
A touch of forgiveness
An open welcome home....
an open welcome home...
yes, a promise still calling us home
Let your candle burn
Throughout this place
As embers in the darkness
The shadows invade
Let your candle burn
As flame purges gold
A keen, disturbing fire
Piercing the stone.....
piercing the stone......
piercing the hardest stone
(Chorus)
Let Your Spirit of the Light
Enter Your chamber within
With the promise of this night
Unveiling the pathway to Heaven
And the brokenness within us
Your love will make whole
The passion that you've given
Will rescue our souls
Let your candle burn within us here
Let your candle burn so clear
Let your candle burn
Enlighten our face
Make stronger our perceiving
The clear from the haze
Let your candle burn
Empassion our souls
With tenderness so fervent
A never-failing Love...
a never failing Love...
never failing Love
(repeat Chorus)
Let your candle burn
Within our hands
Bringing forth a new light
Our lamps to breach the night
Let your candle burn
From heart to soul
A touch of forgiveness
An open welcome home....
an open welcome home...
yes, a promise still calling us home

Take Me Home
04:13
|
|||
Open my eyes that I might see
My ears that I might hear
Lift the veil from my face
Let me know thatYou are near
Take me home, take me home
Take me home....
A life so distant and severe
Is all I've ever known
Was it the pain or the fear
That left me so alone
Take me home, take me home
Take me home....
(break)
Brass doors bolted and chained
Surround my broken soul
But above them all
Your love shines once again
Through an open window
Take my hand and walk me there
Make me new once again
Wash away my tired cares
In the river of forgiving
Make me whole, Make me whole
Make me whole.....
(break)
Brass doors bolted and chained
Surround my broken soul
But above them all
Your love shines once again
Through an open window
Open my eyes that I might see
My ears that I might hear
Lift the veil from my face
Let me know thatYou are near
Take me home, take me home
Take me home....

Can You See Me
04:14
|
|||
I can see you; can you see me
Do you really know my life
It was a precious gift to me
Do you understand the reason why
Or will you simply pass me by?
I come to you, shaken and torn
Far weaker than I hoped to be
On the day that I was born
Now not the faintest memory.
Do you see me suffering
Or do you see your greatest fear
And put me out of sight
Someone not meant to hold too dear?
I can see you; can you see me
Do you really know my life
It was a precious gift to me
Do you understand the reason why
Or will you simply pass me by?
My life is full of choices
Just as yours, you would say
My path lies beaten down
Seemingly misguided along its way
And victims do come from this
Yet another one remains
But do you even see my pain?
I can see you; can you see me
Do you really know my life
It was a precious gift to me
Do you understand the reason why
Or will you simply pass me by?
I ask you for your love
To fill the void that is in a life
Please look and see and be the one
to touch and heal inside
For I may die to take the sin
And you may die to take me in
It's an agony born to the end
Or a gift to begin
I can see you; can you see me
Do you really know my life
It is the greatest gift to me
If you understand the reason why
Or will you simply pass me by?
I can see you; can you see me too?
